Walking
If you are starting from the Veszprém city center, head towards the main square, Kossuth Lajos tér. From the square, take Vár utca (Castle Street) which is located on the north side of the square. Continue walking straight along Vár utca for about 500 meters. You will pass by various shops and cafes. As you approach the end of Vár utca, you will see the entrance to the Castle area on your right. The Castle Well is located at Vár u. 18, which is within the castle complex. Follow the signs directing you to the Castle well, which is situated near the castle walls.
Public Transport
If you prefer to use public transport, you can take Bus number 5 from the Veszprém bus station. Get off at the 'Vár' stop, which is the closest stop to the castle area. From the bus stop, walk along the path leading up to the castle entrance. The Castle Well is located at Vár u. 18, within the castle grounds. Follow the directional signs to the well once you've entered the complex.
