Car
If you are driving, head towards the town of Hegymagas. From the center of Hegymagas, take the road leading out of town, following the signs towards Keszthely. After approximately 2 km, look for a left turn onto a smaller road that leads to the outskirts of the village. Continue on this road for about 1 km, and you will see the Lengyel Chapel located in a scenic area at the coordinates 46.83539, 17.4504415. There is usually ample parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Lengyel Chapel via public transportation, take a train or bus to Keszthely, which is a major town in Western Transdanubia. From Keszthely, you can catch a local bus heading towards Hegymagas. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as options may be limited. Once you arrive in Hegymagas, it is about a 20-30 minute walk to the chapel. Simply head northeast out of the town center, following the signs for the chapel or using a map application on your smartphone.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, Hegymagas is accessible via several bike paths from nearby towns. Starting from Keszthely, follow the bike trail that leads towards Hegymagas. The route is approximately 8 km and offers beautiful views of the countryside. Once you reach Hegymagas, head to the outskirts of the village, and you will find the Lengyel Chapel a short distance away. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling regulations.
