Car
If you're traveling by car, you can reach Sárvár Arboretum via the M86 motorway. Start from any location in Western Transdanubia and head towards Sárvár. Follow the signs for Sárvár, and when you get close, look for Várkerület utca. The arboretum is located at Várkerület u. 30/A, 9600 Sárvár. Parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To get to Sárvár Arboretum using public transportation, take a bus to Sárvár from nearby towns such as Szombathely or Kőszeg. Check the local bus schedules for exact routes and times. Once you arrive at the Sárvár bus station, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the arboretum. Head southwest on Rákóczi Ferenc utca, then turn left onto Várkerület utca. The arboretum will be on your right.
Public Transportation (Train)
If you are coming from a larger city, you can take a train to Sárvár. The train station is located in the center of Sárvár. From the train station, you can either walk or take a taxi. Walking will take about 20 minutes; exit the station and head towards Várkerület utca. The arboretum is at Várkerület u. 30/A.
Taxi
For those who prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Sárvár or from the train/bus station. The fare will vary based on the distance but expect to pay around 1,000 to 2,000 HUF for a short trip within the city.
