Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, which is Sátoraljaújhely. Head southeast on Route 37 until you reach the junction with Route 27. Turn left onto Route 27 and continue for about 20 km. You will pass through the village of Fony. Once in Fony, look for the Unnamed Road that leads to Sólyom-kő. There is a small parking area near the entrance to the walking trail leading to Sólyom-kő, but be mindful of any parking regulations.

Public Transportation

To reach Sólyom-kő via public transportation, take a bus from Sátoraljaújhely to Fony. Buses typically leave from the main bus station. Once you arrive in Fony, you might need to walk approximately 1.5 km to reach the trailhead for Sólyom-kő. Look for signs pointing to the Unnamed Road where you can access the trail. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may not run frequently.

Hiking

After you reach the parking area or trailhead, follow the marked hiking trail to Sólyom-kő. The hike is relatively short but can be steep in parts, so wear appropriate footwear and bring water. The trail is well-marked, and you should be able to reach Sólyom-kő within 30-45 minutes from the trailhead.
