If you are traveling by car, head towards Budapest from Zemplén. Take the M3 motorway towards Budapest. Once you reach Budapest, follow the signs for 'Buda' and exit onto the M1/M7 towards 'Kelenföld'. Continue straight on the M1, which becomes 'Szent Gellért rakpart'. Follow the road until you see signs for the Citadella. It is located on Gellért Hill, so look for the road 'Citadella stny.' to reach the destination. Parking is available in the area, but be aware that it may incur costs, typically around HUF 500-1000 per hour.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a train or bus from Zemplén to Budapest. Once you arrive at Budapest, you can take tram number 19 or 41 towards the 'Gellért tér' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the base of Gellért Hill. You can also take bus number 27 from 'Gellért tér' which will drop you off closer to the Citadella entrance. There may be a small entrance fee to access certain areas of the Citadella, typically around HUF 500.
