If you are traveling by car, start from Akureyri city center and head north on Hafnarstræti. Continue onto Hringvegur (Route 1) and drive for approximately 7 km. Take the exit toward Vaðlaskógur. After exiting, turn left onto Vaðlaskógur road. Follow the road for about 1.5 km, and you will see Forest Lagoon on your right at Vaðlaskógur 605. There is ample parking available on-site.

For those using public transportation, take a local bus from Akureyri city center. Look for bus line 11, which services the area near Forest Lagoon. The bus will take you towards Vaðlaskógur. Get off at the Vaðlaskógur stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Forest Lagoon, which is approximately 800 meters away. Follow the road signs towards Vaðlaskógur 605.
