From the center of Akureyri, head south on Hafnarstræti toward Aðalstræti. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Route 1 (Ring Road). After about 2.5 km, take the exit toward Krossanesborgir. Follow the signs for Krossanesborgir, and you'll find parking near the trailhead. The drive should take around 10 minutes in total.
