From the center of Akureyri, walk to the Akureyri Bus Station located at Hafnarstræti 87. Look for the bus line that heads towards Vaðlaskógur. You can check the local bus schedule at the station or online to find a suitable departure time. Once you board the bus, enjoy the scenic ride. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you wish to get off at the stop closest to Forest Lagoon, as the bus may not have a direct stop there.
