Car

From Reykjavik, drive east on Route 1 (Ring Road) for approximately 150 kilometers. Skógafoss will be located on the right side of the road, easily visible from the highway. There is a large parking lot near the waterfall for visitors to park their cars.

Public Transportation

Take a bus from Reykjavik to the town of Skógar, which is located near Skógafoss. The bus journey takes approximately 2.5 hours. From Skógar, it is a short walk to Skógafoss. Alternatively, you can take a guided tour that includes transportation to and from Skógafoss.
