To reach the Church of Seltjarnarnes from Borgarfjörður by car, start by heading south on Route 1 (the Ring Road). Continue for about 60 kilometers until you reach the town of Borgarnes. From Borgarnes, take the exit onto Route 54 towards Akranes. Follow Route 54 for approximately 45 kilometers, then merge onto Route 1 again towards Reykjavík. Keep in mind that you will need to pay a toll if you cross the Hvalfjörður tunnel, which is approximately 1,000 ISK for a standard car. After passing through the tunnel, continue on Route 1 for about 15 kilometers. Take the exit toward Seltjarnarnes, then continue straight onto Kirkjubraut. The church will be located on your left at v/Kirkjubraut 170.

The ride to Reykjavík takes about 1.5 hours and costs approximately 2,000 ISK. Once in Reykjavík, transfer to bus line 11 towards Seltjarnarnes. This bus will take you directly to Seltjarnarnes. Get off at the stop called 'Seltjarnarnes Kirkja'. From there, it's a short walk to the church located at v/Kirkjubraut 170. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary depending on the day and time.
