Walking

If you are starting from the center of Borgarnes, head towards the waterfront. From the Borgarnes Culture House, walk towards the harbor and follow the path along the water. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Gilsbakkavegur. Turn left onto Gilsbakkavegur and follow the road. After a short walk, you will see Brákin Monument located at the edge of the waterfront, easily accessible from the path.

From the Borgarnes Swimming Pool, exit the facility and head east. Walk along the main road, Borgarbraut, until you reach the intersection with Gilsbakkavegur. Turn right onto Gilsbakkavegur and continue walking. The Brákin Monument will be visible at the waterfront, just a short distance along the road.
