From Borgarnes, start at the Borgarnes Swimming Pool, which is centrally located. Head east on Borgarbraut road. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 1 (also known as Þjóðvegur). At the junction, turn left onto Route 1, heading south. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will arrive at the town of Akranes. Upon entering Akranes, follow the signs to Eyrarskógur, which is located at 22 Akranesi. The walk is scenic, and you can enjoy views of the surrounding landscapes.

From Borgarnes, head to the local bus stop near the Borgarnes Swimming Pool. Take the bus heading towards Akranes. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Akranes, disembark at the Akranes bus station. From there, it is a short walk to Eyrarskógur at 22 Akranesi. Follow the signs for the local attractions to guide you to your destination.
