Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Borgarnes, at the Borgarnes War Museum. Head east on Borgarbraut road for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Iceland Route 1 (Þjóðvegur 1). At the intersection, turn right onto Route 1 and walk for about 7 kilometers. After a while, you will see signs for Mosfellsbær. Keep walking along the road, and you will reach Akrar 2, where Icelandic Riding is located. The riding service is situated on your left-hand side.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Borgarnes, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the Borgarnes School (Borgarnes Skóli). Take the bus number 57 towards Reykjavik. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes, and get off at the Mosfellsbær stop. From the bus stop, walk east towards Akrar 2, which is approximately a 15-minute walk straight ahead. You will see the Icelandic Riding facility on your left.
