Walking
From the center of Borgarnes, head southeast on Borgarbraut (the main road) towards the Borgarfjörður bridge. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the bus stop near the Borgarness bus station. Here, you can catch a bus to Reykjavik. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as buses may not run frequently.

At the Borgarness bus station, board the bus heading to Reykjavik. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Reykjavik, disembark at the main bus terminal (BSI). From there, take the number 1 or number 3 bus towards Miðborg. Get off at the 'Höfðatorg' stop. From Hoftatorg, walk towards Tryggvagata, turn left, and continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Tryggvagata 17, where the Reykjavik Art Museum Hafnarhús is located.
