Car
From Dynjandi Waterfall, head southeast on Route 60 (Dynjandisheiði) towards Þingeyri for about 11 km. Continue on Route 60 until you reach the junction with Route 61. Take a left onto Route 61 and follow it for approximately 30 km. You will pass through scenic landscapes and small villages. As you approach Flókalundur, you will see signs for Vatnsfjörður. Turn left onto the road leading to Vatnsfjörður (HVH8+7QC, 451 Flókalundur) which is about 2 km from Route 61. There is no toll fee on this route.

Take a bus from the nearest bus stop in Dynjandi towards Flókalundur. Check the local bus schedule for the latest departure times. The bus will take you along Route 60 and stop at Flókalundur. From the bus stop, it is approximately a 2 km walk to Vatnsfjörður. Follow the signs towards Vatnsfjörður, and you will enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Ensure to check the return bus schedule as well.
