If you are driving, start from the Dynjandi Waterfall parking area. Get onto the road that leads away from the waterfall, turning onto Route 60. Follow Route 60 for about 4 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 63. Turn left onto Route 63, and continue for another 2 kilometers. Look for a small parking area on your right side near the trailhead to Bæjarfoss. The walking trail begins here and will lead you to the waterfall.

If you are using public transport, check for local bus services that operate in the Westfjords region. Take a bus heading towards Þingeyri from the nearest bus stop to Dynjandi. Inform the driver that you wish to disembark at the stop for Bæjarfoss.
