From Dynjandi Waterfall, head south on Route 60. After approximately 10 kilometers, turn right onto the dirt road leading to Strompgljúfrafoss. The parking area is about 1 kilometer down this road. Please note that this road can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.
Public Transportation
Take the local bus service from Dynjandi to the nearest stop on Route 60. You will need to check the local bus schedule for timings. Once you get off at the nearest stop, it is recommended to walk the remaining distance to Strompgljúfrafoss, as public transport does not go directly to the site. The walk from the bus stop to the waterfall is about 2 kilometers on foot.
Hiking
