From the Egilsstaðir town center, head north on Aðalstræti (the main street). Continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Route 1 highway (also known as the Ring Road). Cross the highway carefully to the other side. Once across, turn left and follow Route 1 for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Flögufoss. After a short walk along the road, you will see the entrance to Flögufoss on your right.

Rent a bicycle in Egilsstaðir and start from the town center. Ride north on Aðalstræti for about 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with Route 1, use the pedestrian crossing to safely cross to the opposite side. Turn left onto Route 1 and continue for approximately 2 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signage directing you to Flögufoss. The entrance will be on your right, just off the main road.
