If you are traveling by car, start from Egilsstaðir, the largest town in the Eastern Region. Head west on Route 1 (the Ring Road) for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 93. Turn onto Route 93 and continue for about 11 kilometers. Then, take a left onto a gravel road that leads towards Grafarlandsfoss. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the waterfall. Be aware that this road may require a medium-sized 4x4 vehicle due to its condition.

If using public transportation, take a bus from Egilsstaðir towards Seyðisfjörður. You will need to get off at the stop nearest to Grafarlandsfoss, which is approximately 5 kilometers from the waterfall. From there, you will need to walk or arrange for a pickup to take you to the waterfall. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as services may be limited.
