Private Diamond Circle Tour from Akureyri

Tour guide Audun was amazing (and the tour was too!)

This private tour with our driver Audun was wonderful. He is a local, very knowledgeable about the area and Iceland as a whole. This was by far our favorite experience on our entire 10 day trip! Highly recommend this tour and especially Audun!!

Multi Generation Northern Iceland Dream

I connected with Joanna through Instagram, and I am so incredibly grateful that I did! Joanna was our guide for an excursion when our cruise ship docked in Akureyri, and from the moment we stepped off the ship, she was absolutely amazing. She was waiting for us right at the dock, and we immediately hit the road to make the most of our time together. We were a group of 8 ranging in age from 7 to 65, and Joanna somehow managed to create an incredible day that worked perfectly for everyone. She listened to what we wanted to see and do, carefully curated our schedule, and packed SO much into our limited time without ever making the day feel rushed or overwhelming. She was incredibly attentive to everyone's needs and made sure every member of our group felt included. What really stood out to me, though, was Joanna herself. Her passion for Iceland—especially Northern Iceland—was absolutely contagious. She didn't just take us to beautiful places; she shared her knowledge, stories, and genuine love for the area, which made everything we saw so much more meaningful. Spending the day exploring with her truly felt like experiencing Iceland with a friend who just happened to know all the best places. And Joanna went above and beyond even beyond our day with her. She connected me with other wonderful guides around Iceland for our other stops, which was incredibly helpful and made the rest of our trip even better. If you're looking for a guide in Northern Iceland, I cannot recommend Joanna highly enough. She was knowledgeable, thoughtful, flexible, incredibly kind, and genuinely invested in making our experience unforgettable. Our day with Joanna was one of the highlights of our entire Iceland trip, and I feel so lucky that Instagram connected us! ️
