Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Akureyri from any location in the Eastern Region. Use Route 1 (the Ring Road) if coming from the south or north. Once you reach Akureyri, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Þingvallastræti. Turn onto Þingvallastræti and continue for about 1 km. Zipline Akureyri is located on the left at Þingvallastræti 50, 600 Akureyri. There is free parking available on-site.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, check the bus schedules from major towns in the Eastern Region to Akureyri. Local buses operated by Strætó run routes to Akureyri. Once you arrive at the Akureyri bus station, you can either walk to Zipline Akureyri, which is about a 20-minute walk, or take a local taxi. If walking, head towards Þingvallastræti and follow the directions mentioned above. Taxi fares will vary but expect to pay around 2,500 ISK for a short ride.

• Walking

  If you are already in Akureyri and prefer to walk, head towards the city center. From the Akureyri main square, walk north on Hafnarstræti, then turn left onto Þingvallastræti. Continue walking for about 1 km, and you will find Zipline Akureyri on your left at Þingvallastræti 50. The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
