Car
If you are driving from any location in the Eastern Region, head towards Route 1 (the Ring Road) westbound. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 640 kilometers until you reach Reykjavík. As you approach Reykjavík, follow the signs for Sæbraut. Turn onto Sæbraut, and you will find Sun Voyager located at the waterfront. There is no parking fee nearby, but be mindful of local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Sun Voyager using public transportation, take a bus from any town in the Eastern Region to Reykjavík. The bus service is operated by Strætó, and you can check the schedules on their website. Once you arrive at the Reykjavík bus terminal (BSÍ), you can either walk or take local bus line 12 towards Sæbraut. Disembark at the stop closest to the waterfront and walk a short distance along the coast to reach Sun Voyager.

If you're already in the Reykjavík area, you can easily walk to Sun Voyager. From the city center, head towards the waterfront along the main road, Sæbraut. The walk is approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your starting point. Follow the coastal path; you will see the iconic sculpture as you approach the water's edge.
