Public Bus
From Egilsstadir, you can take the local bus heading towards Seydisfjordur. Board the bus at the Egilsstadir Bus Station. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Rjúkandi. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Rjúkandi stop, you will need to walk about 1.5 km to reach the waterfall. Follow the path that leads you westward. The path may be slightly steep, so wear comfortable walking shoes.

Bicycle Rental
You can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Egilsstadir. Once you have a bike, head out of Egilsstadir on the road towards Seydisfjordur. After approximately 6 km, look for a sign indicating Rjúkandi Waterfall. Follow the gravel path that leads to the waterfall. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes, depending on your speed. Be cautious of the terrain as some parts may be uneven.

Walking
If you are keen on walking, you can head out from Egilsstadir on foot. Start at the Egilsstadir town center and head towards the road leading to Seydisfjordur. Continue walking for approximately 6 km until you reach the turnoff for Rjúkandi Waterfall. The walk can take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you see the sign for the waterfall, follow the trail leading up the hill to reach your destination.
