Walking
From the center of Egilsstadir, start at the Egilsstadir town hall located at Austurvegur 1. Walk north along Austurvegur until you reach the intersection with Múlagata. Turn left onto Múlagata and continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Þingmúli. Turn right on Þingmúli and walk straight for approximately 2 kilometers. You will see signs for Rjúkandi Waterfall. Follow the signs, and after about 500 meters, you will arrive at the waterfall.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Egilsstadir town center near the Egilsstadir town hall. Head north on Austurvegur and take a left onto Múlagata. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, then turn right onto Þingmúli. Follow Þingmúli for around 2 kilometers, and look for the signs leading to Rjúkandi Waterfall. It’s a pleasant bike ride, and once you see the signs, it’s about a 500-meter ride to the waterfall.
