Walking
From the center of Egilsstaðir, start at the Egilsstadir Pond (Egilsstaðavatn). Head southeast along Ásgeirsgata street until you reach the intersection with Hringvegur (Route 1). Cross over at the traffic lights to the other side of the road. Continue walking east on Hringvegur for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see Hotel Eyvindará on your right at Eyvindará 2, 700 Egilsstaðir.
Public Transport
Take the local bus from the Egilsstaðir bus terminal. Look for the bus route heading towards Seyðisfjörður or the one labeled 'Hringvegur'. Inform the driver you want to get off at the stop closest to Hotel Eyvindará. The hotel is located just a short walk from the stop, approximately 200 meters. Walk back west along Hringvegur until you see the hotel on your left.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Egilsstaðir. Start at the Egilsstadir Pond and ride along Ásgeirsgata street. Continue straight until it merges with Hringvegur (Route 1). Head east on Hringvegur for about 1 kilometer. The hotel will be on your right at Eyvindará 2, 700 Egilsstaðir.
