Start from the center of Egilsstaðir, at the intersection of Þjóðvegur (Route 1) and Brekkugata. Head east on Brekkugata, passing by the Egilsstaðir Church on your left. Continue straight until you reach the end of Brekkugata, where it meets Árhvammur. Turn right onto Árhvammur. Selskógur will be on your left side at Árvammur 40. The walk takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace.

If you have access to a bicycle, start in the center of Egilsstaðir at the intersection of Þjóðvegur (Route 1) and Brekkugata. Cycle east along Brekkugata, passing the Egilsstaðir Church. Continue until Brekkugata ends and turns into Árhvammur. Selskógur will be located on your left at Árvammur 40. The bike ride should take approximately 10 minutes.
