Stay on Route 36 for another 12 km, then take a left onto Kjósarskarðsvegur (also marked as Þórufoss road on some maps). Follow this road for about 6 km until you reach the parking area for Þórufoss. The waterfall will be visible from the parking area, and you can walk closer to enjoy the view.
