Getting There

    If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Þingvellir National Park, which is a central point in the Golden Circle. Head south on Route 36 (Þingvallavegur) for about 15 km, then take a right turn onto Route 37 (Biskupsstígur). Continue on this road for approximately 10 km until you reach Route 1 (the Ring Road). Turn left onto Route 1 heading east. After about 20 km, take the exit toward Route 36 (Þingvallavegur) again. Stay on Route 36 for another 12 km, then take a left onto Kjósarskarðsvegur (also marked as Þórufoss road on some maps). Follow this road for about 6 km until you reach the parking area for Þórufoss. The waterfall will be visible from the parking area, and you can walk closer to enjoy the view.
