If you're traveling by car, start from Þingvellir National Park, a popular stop on the Golden Circle. Head south on Route 36 towards Laugarvatn. After about 16 km, turn right onto Route 37 and continue for about 8 km until you reach Biskupstungnabraut (Route 30). Turn left onto Biskupstungnabraut and drive for approximately 5 km. Stóri-Hellir will be on your right, look for a historical landmark sign.
