After about 16 km, turn right onto Route 37 and continue for about 8 km until you reach Biskupstungnabraut (Route 30). Turn left onto Biskupstungnabraut and drive for approximately 5 km. Stóri-Hellir will be on your right, look for a historical landmark sign.

From Geysir, you may need to arrange a local taxi service as there is no direct public transport to Stóri-Hellir.
