From the center of Grindavik, head south on Aðalgata street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Suðurstrandarvegur. Turn left onto Suðurstrandarvegur, and follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will notice signs directing you to Fagradalsfjall Volcano. The trailhead will be on your right, where you will see a parking area and information signs.

If you have a bicycle, start from the center of Grindavik and ride south on Aðalgata street. At the intersection with Suðurstrandarvegur, turn left.
