Walking
If you are in the center of Grindavik, start by heading southeast on Aðalgata towards the main road, Reykjanesbraut (Route 43). Once you reach Reykjanesbraut, turn left and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Keilir on your right. Follow the signs until you reach the base of the mountain. The walk should take approximately 20-25 minutes.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start from the center of Grindavik on Aðalgata. Head southeast towards Reykjanesbraut (Route 43) and turn left onto the main road. Continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers. Look out for the signs directing you to Keilir on your right. The cycling route is straightforward and should take around 10-15 minutes.

Check the local bus schedule for route options heading towards Reykjanesbraut. Take a bus that stops near the intersection of Aðalgata and Reykjanesbraut. From there, disembark and walk east on Reykjanesbraut. After about 1 kilometer, you will see signs for Keilir on your right. The total travel time, including waiting for the bus, is approximately 30-40 minutes.
