Walking
Start at the center of Grindavik, near the main church. Head north on Aðalgata street until you reach the intersection with Hólagata. Turn right onto Hólagata and continue straight until you reach the end of the street. From there, take a left onto Sólvellir. Walk along Sólvellir until you reach the bus station on your right. Look for the bus service that goes to Reykjavik. The bus will take you to the main bus terminal in Reykjavik. Once there, transfer to a bus heading towards Hafnarfjörður. Upon arrival in Hafnarfjörður, ask the driver for directions to Thríhnúkagígur Volcano, which is located at the address: X8X2+9CM, 206 Hafnarfjörður.
Public Transport
From the center of Grindavik, walk to the bus stop located at the Grindavik town square. Take the bus towards Reykjavik. When you arrive at the BSI Bus Terminal in Reykjavik, transfer to a bus that goes to Hafnarfjörður. Once you reach Hafnarfjörður, disembark and ask locals or check for local transport options (like taxis or shuttle services) to Thríhnúkagígur Volcano, located at X8X2+9CM, 206 Hafnarfjörður.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Grindavik to Thríhnúkagígur Volcano. Simply find a taxi at the main square in Grindavik or ask your accommodation to arrange one for you.
