From Hengifoss Waterfall, head west on Route 1 (the Ring Road) toward Egilsstaðir. Continue driving for about 19 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 93. Turn left onto Route 93 and continue for approximately 36 kilometers until you reach the town of Ólafsvík. Bugsfoss is located in Ólafsvík, so make sure to have your GPS set to the coordinates 64.8860251, -23.6431135. There is no entrance fee for Bugsfoss.

From Hengifoss Waterfall, you will need to take a bus to Ólafsvík. Check the local bus schedule as services may vary.
