Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers to reach the waterfall. Note that access may require a 4x4 vehicle depending on the road conditions.

    From Hengifoss Waterfall, the nearest bus stop is in the town of Egilsstaðir, which is approximately 25 kilometers away.
