  From Hengifoss Waterfall, head southwest on Route 1 (the Ring Road) for about 10 km. Look for signs for Route 939 and take a left turn onto Route 939. Continue on Route 939 for approximately 15 km until you reach the small village of Djupivogur. Once in Djupivogur, follow the signs toward Bragðavellir.   If traveling by bus, take a bus from Egilsstaðir to Djupivogur. The bus ride may take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the schedule.
