To reach Brúarfoss by car from the town of Selfoss, start by heading north on Route 35 towards Geysir. Continue driving on Route 35 for approximately 60 kilometers (about 37 miles). When you reach the intersection with Route 37, turn left onto Route 37. After about 2 kilometers, you will see a sign for Brúarfoss. Turn right onto the gravel road leading to Brúarfoss. Drive carefully as the road can be rough, and follow the road until you reach the designated parking area. The hike to the waterfall from the parking area is approximately 1.5 kilometers (about 0.9 miles) and takes about 30-40 minutes.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Reykjavik to Geysir, which is the closest stop to Brúarfoss. Check the schedules on the Strætó website for the latest routes and timings.
