    From Hengifoss Waterfall, get back on Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading south. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 90 kilometers (about 1 hour 15 minutes) until you reach the turn-off for Route 85. Take the exit onto Route 85 towards Akureyri. Follow Route 85 for about 28 kilometers until you see signs for Goðafoss. Turn left onto the road leading to the waterfall. There is a parking area available near the waterfall, and parking is free.
