    If you are traveling by car, head out from Akureyri on Route 1, the Ring Road, heading east. Continue for approximately 50 kilometers until you see the signs for Route 842, which leads to Goðafoss Waterfall. Take the exit onto Route 842 and follow it for about 10 kilometers. You will reach the waterfall parking area, which is well-marked. There is no entrance fee, but parking may have a small cost depending on the season.

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Akureyri to Goðafoss. The bus service is provided by Strætó, and you can catch a bus from the Akureyri bus station. Check the schedule ahead of time, as services may not be frequent. The bus will take you to a stop near the waterfall, from which you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the waterfall viewing area. Make sure to have some Icelandic króna for the bus fare, which is typically around 1,500 ISK for a single journey.
