Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of the Highlands, head southeast on Route 1 (the Ring Road). Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 205. Turn onto Route 205 and follow it for about 20 kilometers. As you drive, enjoy the stunning landscapes characteristic of the Highlands. Keep an eye out for the signs for Mulagljufur Canyon. After about 20 kilometers, you will see a small parking area on your left side, which is the starting point for accessing the canyon.
