Getting there

Car

From the visitor center in Skaftafell National Park, drive south on Route 1 for about 2.5 kilometers. Then, turn left onto Route F985 and continue for another 3 kilometers. You will see a sign for Stjórnarfoss, where you can park your car and walk a short distance to reach the waterfall.

Public Transportation

Take the Skaftafell shuttle bus from the visitor center in Skaftafell National Park. The bus will drop you off at the trailhead for Stjórnarfoss. From there, follow the marked path to reach the waterfall.
