Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head to Vitaslóð 1 in Húsavík. From the center of Húsavík, drive towards the coast on Garðarsbraut street, then take a left onto Vitaslóð. The Geosea - Geothermal Sea Baths will be located on your right. There is ample parking available on-site, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply, depending on the time of year.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, check the local bus schedules as there may be limited service. You can take a bus to Húsavík from nearby towns like Akureyri or Reykjahlíð. Once you arrive in Húsavík, the Geosea - Geothermal Sea Baths are approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Exit the bus station and head south on Garðarsbraut street, then turn left onto Vitaslóð. Follow the street until you reach the baths.

• Walking

  For those already in the Húsavík area, walking to Geosea is a pleasant option. Start at the town center and walk along Garðarsbraut street towards the coast. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Vitaslóð. The baths will be on your right. The scenic walk offers views of the ocean and surrounding landscapes, making it a delightful journey.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Húsavík. The ride to Geosea is relatively easy and takes about 10-15 minutes from the town center. Head south on Garðarsbraut, then turn left onto Vitaslóð. Ensure you're comfortable with local cycling rules and wear a helmet for safety.
