Goðafoss Waterfall and Turf House Tour from Akureyri Port

Nice day in Akureyri

We visited the turf houses first and then went to waterfall. I could have used more time at the waterfall. The guide gave us only 50 minutes there. It's a big site if you want to walk to both sides. I didn't have time to go to the shop or cafe. The weather was beautiful.

Goðafoss Waterfall & Forest Lagoon from Akureyri Port

A must do for cruisers! Fantastic tour & price.

What an amazing tour. We were given ample time at each stop to explore and enjoy. Our tour guide and driver were A+ too. Highly recommend this tour. We were given options too at the end of the tour to go back to cruise ship, town ( 20 min. walk to ship), or at the Botanical Gardens. I had emailed the tour company off hours to make sure we’d be back at the pier in time for our ship and within 30 minutes received a reply from the operator. Again, highly recommend especially for cruisers. You’ll have a better experience and save lots of money not booking this one with the cruise line. The Forrest Lagoon was fantastic too! You won’t get that experience through the cruise’s tour.
