Walking
If you are in the center of Husavik, start your journey by heading east on Aðalgata street towards the harbor. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hafnarbraut street. Turn left onto Hafnarbraut and follow the road along the coast. After about 500 meters, you will reach the junction for the road leading to Camping Hljóðaklettar. The campground is located approximately 1.5 kilometers from the town center along this road, which is well-marked. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the campground as you walk.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Husavik. From the rental shop, ride east on Aðalgata street towards the harbor. Continue on Hafnarbraut street, following the coastline. After about 500 meters, you will reach the junction that leads to Camping Hljóðaklettar. The ride is approximately 1.5 kilometers from the town center. The roads are generally flat and easy to navigate, with designated bike lanes in some areas.
Public Transport
Check the local bus schedule for routes heading towards Camping Hljóðaklettar. You can catch the bus from the main bus stop near the center of Husavik. The bus will take you on a route that goes along the coast. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination, as not all buses may stop directly at the campground. The travel time is about 10-15 minutes, depending on the bus schedule.
