Start your journey at the Húsavík harbor area. From the harbor, head south on Aðalgata street, passing shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Garðarsbraut street. Turn left onto Garðarsbraut. Walk along Garðarsbraut for about 500 meters. You will see a small path leading up to a hill on your right; this is the pathway to the Húsavík viewing point. Follow the path uphill, and you will reach the viewing point in about 10-15 minutes. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Húsavík. Start at the shop and head towards the harbor, then follow the same route as for walking: go south on Aðalgata street and turn left onto Garðarsbraut street. Continue for about 500 meters. When you see the pathway to the viewing point on your right, park your bicycle and walk up the path. The ride should take about 5 minutes, and the walk to the top will take another 10-15 minutes.
