Car
From the center of Hveragerdi, head southwest on Þjóðvegur 1 (Route 1) towards Hella. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 20 minutes (about 23 km). Look for the sign for Ægissíðufoss Waterfall. Turn right onto a smaller road indicated by the sign. The waterfall is located just a short drive down this road, and there is parking available near the site.
Public Transportation
From Hveragerdi, take a bus to Hella. Check the local bus schedules as they may vary. The journey to Hella takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Hella, you will need to walk to the waterfall. Head southwest on Þjóðvegur 1 for about 1.5 km until you see the sign for Ægissíðufoss Waterfall. Follow the sign to the right onto the smaller road leading to the waterfall. It is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
