Walking
To get to Arnarhóll from the center of Hveragerdi, start at the Hveragerdi Swimming Pool. Head north on Lækjargata street, then take a right onto Hveragerðisgata street. Continue walking straight until you reach the main road (Route 1). Cross the road and follow the signs towards Reykjavík. After approximately 5 km, you will enter Reykjavík. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Miðborg and Arnarhóll. Once you reach the city center, you will see Arnarhóll on your left, near the iconic Harpa Concert Hall.
Public Bus
From Hveragerdi, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road (Route 1). Catch the Strætó bus number 51 heading towards Reykjavík. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop called 'Hlemmur'. Once you disembark, walk towards the east for about 10 minutes, taking Laugavegur street. Continue until you reach the intersection with the street leading to Arnarhóll, which will be on your right just before you reach Harpa Concert Hall.
