    From the center of Hveragerdi, start by heading north on Hverabraut street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Reykjalundur road. Turn left onto Reykjalundur and follow it until you reach the bus stop for bus 51 on your right. Take bus 51 in the direction of Selfoss. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Thingvellir National Park stop. From the bus stop, walk straight into the park, following the signs towards Öxarárfoss. It will take about 20 minutes on foot to reach the waterfall.

    From Hveragerdi, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Hverabraut street. Take bus 51 towards Selfoss. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the Thingvellir National Park stop. Once you get off, follow the signs to Öxarárfoss, which is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance for return trips.
