From the center of Hveragerdi, head east on Þjóðvegur 1 (the main road). Continue walking for about 2 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. Take the right fork onto Road 37, which is signposted for Raufarhólshellir. Follow this road for another 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Raufarhólshellir indicating the entrance. The cave is located just off the road and is easily accessible on foot.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Hveragerdi and head east on Þjóðvegur 1. After about 2 kilometers, look for the right fork onto Road 37. Continue biking for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for the signs leading to Raufarhólshellir. The bike ride is scenic and will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace.
