Start at the center of Hveragerði, near the main square. From here, head southwest on Þjóðvegur 1 (the main road). After about 500 meters, you will see a sign for Reykjafoss Waterfall indicating a path to the right. Turn right and continue on this path, which will lead you to a small footbridge over the river. Cross the bridge and follow the well-marked trail that goes uphill. The trail is about 1 km long and will take you directly to the waterfall. As you approach, you will hear the sound of cascading water, and soon you'll be greeted by the beautiful sight of Reykjafoss Waterfall.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike in Hveragerði. Start from the main square and head southwest on Þjóðvegur 1. After about 500 meters, look for a sign directing you to Reykjafoss Waterfall. Turn right onto the path and continue for approximately 1.5 km. The route is mostly flat and follows the river, making it a pleasant ride. Be cautious of pedestrians on the trail. Once you reach the waterfall, find a safe place to park your bike and enjoy the view.
