Car
If you are driving from the center of Hveragerði, head northwest on Þjóðvegur 1 (Route 1) towards Reykjavík. After about 2 kilometers, take a right onto the road marked towards the Hot Springs (2R69+C7F). Continue straight, and you will see the entrance to the Hot Springs on your left. There is free parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach the Hot Springs by public transport, you can catch a local bus from Hveragerði. Look for buses heading towards Reykjavík. Get off at the stop closest to the Hot Springs area, which is approximately 2 kilometers from the center of Hveragerði. From there, it is a short walk (around 25 minutes) to the entrance. Be sure to check the local bus schedule, as services may vary.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the center of Hveragerði, head northwest on Þjóðvegur 1 (Route 1). After about 2 kilometers, you will come to a sign indicating the Hot Springs, where you can turn left onto the smaller road (2R69+C7F). Continue walking, and you'll reach the Hot Springs entrance. This walk should take approximately 30-35 minutes.
