If you are driving, head southeast on Þingvellir street towards the main road (Route 85). Continue on Route 85 for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 87. Turn left onto Route 87 and continue for approximately 7 km. You will see signs for Grenjaðarstaður. Follow the signs, and you will reach the Old Turfhouse, located at Aðaldalur, Staðarbraut, 641 Húsavík.

To get to Grenjaðarstaður using public transportation, take Bus #1 from Húsavík town center. The bus departs from the main bus stop near the harbor. You will want to ride the bus towards Akureyri and get off at the stop called 'Grenjaðarstaður.' The museum is a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs towards Aðaldalur, Staðarbraut. It should take about 15-20 minutes by bus, depending on the schedule.
