Continue on Route 1 for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Route 85 towards Húsavík. Follow Route 85 for about 30 kilometers until you see signs for Eyjardalsá. The destination is located just off the main road, and you can park in the designated area near the horse rental service.

To reach Eyjardalsá using public transportation, first take a bus from Akureyri to Húsavík. Check the local bus schedules as they can vary, and the journey takes about 1 hour.
